The more my clients asked me to do, the more I was able to deliver. One of my clients called me The Photomachine. After a while the name stuck.
I have been a professional photographer for 14 years. Up until December 2007, I was based in Cleveland, Ohio, but now I am living and working in Fort Collins, Colorado. I still work for a number of clients in Cleveland as well as all over the country. My work has been for large corporations as well as small local clients.
In the commercial photography industry you have to be able to adapt your talents to fit your clients' needs. While I focus on product and lifestyle photography, my skills extend into location, architecture, landscape, editorial, action and fine art photography.
Because I perform all of my own image processing and post-production work, I can work with my clients to produce images that are ready for them to publish. The majority of my work is shot digitally, however if the project calls for it, I still shoot on medium and large format film.
While I have been shooting with digital equipment since 1999, I feel there is still a necessity for film not just for fine art or experimental work, but for commercial work as well. That is why I still keep my large and medium format cameras handy.
When I'm not shooting photographs, you can usually find me in front of the computer processing and working with images. I use the most current industry standard software and hardware, and I am continuously furthering my skills.
